General English, practiced out loud

General English is the course for people who want to speak in ordinary life: stories, opinions, questions, and the phrases you reach for every day.

What you practice

You speak in full turns, not isolated drills. A class works on something you can use the same day: explaining a plan, telling what happened, asking for a clearer explanation, or disagreeing without shutting the conversation down.

Listening is part of the same hour. You hear another person at a natural pace and answer them, which is the skill everyday English actually requires.

Who it is for

Choose general English when your goal is confidence in daily conversation, not a specific exam or a single industry. It fits students, professionals, and anyone who already knows some English and wants it to come out more easily.

If your week is mostly meetings and email, start with business English. If you are booking a test date, start with IELTS or TOEFL. You can move between them.

How a class works

You join a live class with a teacher on English-Everyday. The hour is speaking time. The teacher corrects what gets in the way of being understood and leaves you with language you can reuse.

Your first class is free and does not ask for a card. Create an account when you want the next class and your progress kept.
